Over 1.4 mln stimulant tablets seized in Pinlaung township of Shan State

Over 1.4 million stimulant tablets worth over K700 million were confiscated in Pinlaung Township in Shan State, according to the Myanmar Police Force.
Acting on the tip-off, a combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and searched a Hino 12-wheel car driven by Zaw Min heading from Pinlaung to Tatkon on the Pinlaung-Tatkon Road near the Leinli suspension bridge in Pinlaung township of Shan State at 3 pm on 8 November. A total of 1.438 million stimulant tablets worth over K700 million were found in the car.
According to interrogation results, stimulant tablets were transported from Shan State (South) to Kayin State. Legal action is taken against him and the Myanmar Police Force is trying to expose those connected with him. – MNA
