Over 140,000 people in NyaungU district vaccinated against COVID-19

Vaccination reaches 145,202 people in NyaungU.

A total of 145,202 people in NyaungU District, Mandalay Region, has been vaccinated against COVID-19, as of 27 October, according to the District Administration Body.
People received the COVID-19 vaccines at 12 different designated immunization sites in Kyaukpadaung Township and NyaungU Township, respectively. The COVID-19 immunization has been undertaken in both townships, vaccinating a total of 67,976 people in NyaungU Township and 77,226 people in Kyaukpadaung Township.
It is also reported that mobile COVID-19 vaccination teams are also going to remote villages to vaccinate the people living in those areas, and the inoculation against COVID-19 will continue to implement depending on the availability of the vaccine. — Ko Htein/GNLM
