Over 15,000 students vaccinated against COVID-19 in Lewe, Nay Pyi Taw

An above 12 year-old student gets jabbed against COVID-19.

The COVID-19 vaccination programme for the students aged 12 and above has started since 12 October in Lewe Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory, and a total of 15,884 students — 73.89 per cent have been jabbed as of 10 November.
The vaccination continued yesterday at the Lewe Township Sports Training Camp (2) and students received the first dose of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines. Healthcare professionals screened them for contraindication and precaution before inoculation. After getting vaccines, students were observed for 30 minutes to ensure no immediate reaction occurs. – Nay Zaw Chit (IPRD)/GNLM
