Oxygen plant will be re-operated for giving treatment to COVID-19 patients: Senior General

State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets the health department personnel at the Minbu General Hospital yesterday.

Arrangements must be made for patients to conveniently receive medical treatment at the hospital under the systematic management, said Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing in inspecting Minbu General Hospital yesterday afternoon.
At the meeting hall, Magway Region Public Health Department Head Dr Thaung Hlaing reported on the brief history of the hospital, medical treatments for various patients, progress in vaccination of anti-COVID-19 pandemic, functioning of the teaching hospital, preparation for ICU of the hospital and requirements.
After hearing the reports, the Senior General said that the oxygen plant will be re-operated for giving treatment to COVID-19 patients. Patients from townships on the western bank of Ayeyawady Region in Magway Region are to receive medical treatment at Minbu General Hospital. The hospital has been equipped with full facilities. The Senior General recognized the dutiful services of the health staff at the hospital. It is necessary to carry out sanitation in the compound of the hospital, and arrangements must be made for patients to conveniently receive medical treatment at the hospital under systematic management.
The Senior General presented K15 million for the hospital and foodstuffs for health staff and patients through the medical superintendent and officials.
The Senior General then cordially greeted the health staff. — MNA
