Panpinchaung village of Ayeyawady Region receives K10 mln for socioeconomic development

Panpinchaung village in Luthantchaung village-tract of Kyaunggon township in Ayeyawady Region received K10 million for socioeconomic development activities.
Cooperatives and Rural Development Deputy Minister U Myint Soe together with officials handed over K10 million for the Village Development Project (VDP) in Panpinchaung village during an inspection tour of the Ayeyawady Region yesterday.
Similarly, the deputy minister and party inspected the rural development tasks in Westsugyi village in Wardu village-tract of Kangyidaunt township yesterday morning and coordinated the necessary things.
In addition, the deputy minister viewed and encouraged the trainees of the high-level sewing course under the Department of Rural Development and Vocational Training School (Pathein) in Westsugyi village and gave necessary instructions.
The deputy minister also met departmental staff, cooperative members and mung bean growers at the Ayethaya Hall of Kyaunggon township and discussed implementing the contract farming system for growing the winter crops with the State Economic Promotion Fund and socioeconomic development.
Afterwards, the deputy minister and party met the staff of the Cooperatives Department, Rural Development Department and Small-Scale Industries Department and Rural Road Development Department in Kyaunggon township and instructed responsible personnel to understand the policy and objectives of the ministry and to implement the tasks. — MNA
