Paungde Township sees thriving summer paddy farms, booming handicraft works

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win visited Kyutawkan Village in Paungde Township, Bago Region, yesterday morning to observe a model paddy field of high-quality, high-yield YSR-1 paddy strain.
U Aung Myo Min, the head of the township agriculture department, explained the YSR-1 rice variety to the Chief Minister.
Following this, the Chief Minister visited Natpadee Village to observe a local business involved in producing velvet footwear. During the visit, he learned about the production process and distribution methods of velvet footwear.
