Hseeintan beach in Kanyingon Village-tract of Kungyangon Township, Yangon Region, is crowded with the people taking relaxation during the office holidays.
“Tidal water has reached the beach since at about 9 am, so travellers enjoy swimming from the morning to the afternoon. At about 3 pm, number of swimmers declines. Most of the travellers return home without spending their time till the darkness. Tidal water slightly ebbs but it is ready to admit swimming till the evening. Travellers come from Dala and Kungyangon townships as well as those from Yangon. Food stalls don’t have high demand on sales now,” said a local who opens restaurant on the beach.
Children from flocks of travellers happily enjoy riding of horses, speedboats and four-wheel motorcycles at Hseeintan beach. Meanwhile, adults from the flocks pose for documentary photos together with statues of mermaids near the beach. Moreover, visitors wait for the sunset to take photos with the beautiful scenes of the beach in the background.
Travellers from four corners of the country pay visits to the beach not only during the office holidays but weekdays. So, the beach is thronged with the visitors. Hence, more than 50 restaurants and food stalls are opened on the beach to give food services to the travellers. Among them, hilsa curry, crab and shrimp meals are very famous among the visitors.
