Pre-Job Training Course to enhance staff capacity

The opening ceremony of Pre-Job Training Course 2/2023 of the Training School of the Department of Information and Public Relations under the Ministry of Information was held yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
First, Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint highlighted the IPRD is to work closely with the people in all regions that capacity building courses are being delivered to make full-fledged employees to be good public relations. They have to acquire skills of proper knowledge that is consistent with the position. Since the library work is one of the main activities of the department, those who will serve in the regions and states need to try to make the library work successful.
The Pre-Job Training Course lasts from 4 to 22 September with attendance of 27 trainees. The course comprises subjects on office work manuals, financial regulation, keeping accounts, management of library activities, applying Digital Library Management System (DLMS), media ethics, facts about social media, and measures on printing and publishing, News Media Law and so on. — MNA/TS
