The acts which are beyond nature can be identified as pollutions. Wikipedia identifies pollution as the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that causes adverse change. Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy, such as noise, heat, or light.
Sound pollution of which is one of the pollutions namely air pollution, light pollution, litter, noise pollution, plastic pollution, soil contamination, radioactive contamination, thermal pollution, visual pollution, and water pollution.
Currently, the people from urban and rural areas are troubled in mind because of loud sounds of some vendors with the use of hand-speakers. Loud sounds are covering all the streets all day time, making the mental and physical troubles to the people.
Some vendors do not have any consideration in turning on their loud sounds in the sale of goods. Their acts harm the daily lifestyle of the people. Especially, older persons and patients suffering from chronic diseases, pregnant women as well as children can face the side effects under the high decibels.
In fact, anyone who always hears sounds with more than 75 decibels may face a disorder of hearing. Those who always hear the sounds with more than 55 decibels may face health problems, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization.
Despite having the fundamental rights of citizens, the people do not have the authority to prohibit the use of high decibel sounds. But, the local authorities have the authority to take any action against those who breach the laws related to sound pollution. As such, they have to manage the mitigation of sound pollution as part of serving the interests of the people.
Those hand-speaker users should avoid the acts of turning on the loud sounds in their daily works such as selling products, holding donation ceremonies and accepting donations. They should culture the sympathy over the people in using the loud sounds of the vendors in the streets one after another.
Hence, those using the high decibels of sound especially vendors using the hand-speakers should conscientiously control their activities with sympathy for all of the people in the Myanmar society.
In fact, the restrictions related to noisy sounds have been prescribed in Myanmar but following the disciplines and control measures are still weak in the society.
