Pyay Shwesandaw to hold Buddha Pujaniya Festival, Tour of Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha

The Board of Trustees of the Pyay Shwesandaw Pagoda has announced that the Buddha Pujaniya Festival and the Tour of the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha will take place for 10 days.
Pyay Shwesandaw Pagoda’s 2,612th Buddha Pujaniya Festival and 124th Tour of the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha will last for 10 days, starting from 20 to 29 November 2023.
The Pagoda Board of Trustees has announced that events such as drama plays, circus, and stage shows will be organized in a peaceful and lively manner during the festival period.
Those who usually open stalls during the festival will be charged shop fees according to last year’s receipts starting 1 November and they need to be submitted by 7 November. It is known that those who want to open shops starting from this year will be allocated on 8 November.
Thus, the board of trustees invited foreign and home-grown tourists and visitors to enjoy the Tour of the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha in the city. — TWA/CT
