RCSS delegation departs from Nay Pyi Taw

The Restoration Council of Shan State-RCSS delegation led by Chairman General Yawd Serk, who came to peace talks at the invitation of State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, took a flight to Tachilek, Shan State from Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
RCSS Chairman General Yawd Serk and delegation were seen off by officials and members of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee, ethnic people of the Department of Fine Arts, departmental officials and locals, by holding miniature State flags and placards bearing: “Perpetual peace is the real aspiration of the people”, “Achieving peace is the true desire of all citizens”, “Let’s hold talks for peace in the Union”, “Only the ethnic nationalities are in unity, stability, peace and tranquillity will be achieved” at the Nay Pyi Taw Airport.
The peace delegation was welcomed back by officials from Tachilek Station of the Triangle Region Command, departmental staff, political parties and local people, by carrying placards: “We support the peace talks”, “We welcome the State Administration Council’s peace talks”, at the Tachilek Airport. — MNA
