A premiere for the film “A Red Blanket” was launched at Star Cinema of the Myawady Media Centre in Yankin Township of Yangon Region yesterday.
The event was attended by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, the region cabinet, the chairman and members of Myanmar Motion Picture Organization, officials of the centre, the director, film stars and film-making members, invitees and media.
The movie “A Red Blanket” is based on a true story. The story was written by Tin Than Oo, and Tin Aung Soe (Pan Myo Taw) while the script by Myo Myint Yan Naung. It takes two hours and 40 minutes and is directed by Director Tin Aung Soe (Pan Myo Taw). It was filmed in Kachin State focusing on the pace and affection to hail the 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day.
The film will also honour the military sacrifice, affection and perpetual peace marking the coming 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day. — Nyein Thu (MNA)/KTZH
