Relief materials from ministries transported to Rakhine State

Under the directive of the National Disaster Management Committee, with the supervision of the Transport and Communications Work Committee, MCL 3 vessel which docked at the Myanmar Terminal (TMT) in Yangon transported 13,013 bags of rice, 600 visses of edible oil, 400 cartons of instant noodle, 1,490 boxes of medicines, 300 tonnes of sawn timber in various sizes, 26,840 corrugated roof sheets, 33 tractors, parts of telecom towers and related items, lamp-posts and relief materials provided by the Ministries of Transport and Communications, Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, Electric Power, and Social Welfare, Relief & Resettlement as well as Myanmar Economic Corporation totalling 1,592 tonnes to Sittway.—MNA/KZL
