Rice assistance provided to IDPs in Sagaing District

On 7 April, it was reported that internally displaced people in Sagaing District received rice assistance through funding from the National Disaster Management Committee.
A total of 11,772 individuals, including displaced persons and government employees, have been provided with rice to last for three months. Initially, rice was distributed to displaced people from Thawtapan and Htonbo wards. Reportedly, a plan is underway to provide rice to those from the remaining wards. — Zaw Myint Naing (Sagaing IPRD)/TRKM
