Tatmadaw members, Myanmar Police Force and municipal staff collectively removed the roadblocks on Insein road in Hline Township of Yangon Region yesterday, and YCDC members Dr Zaw Win and U Aung Naing inspected their operations.
They removed the roadblocks from Thiri Yadana market to Thu Kha street in Hline Township. The residents offered them drinking waters, soft drinks and snacks.
Similarly, they removed five barriers on Bogyoke Aung San Road (between Bo Myat Tun and Thein Phyu roads), Bo Myat Tun Road (between Bogyoke Aung San and Anawyahtar roads) in Botahtaung Township with 1 Loader and 2 Tippers, other blocks on Y bridge on Kyaikkasan road in Tamway Township with 2 Tippers while with 1 Loader and 2 Tippers on Ahlone road (between lower Kyimyindine and Ngu Wah streets), with 1 Dozer and 3 vehicles on Kyaik Wine Pagoda Road (between Min Dhamma and Insein roads) in Mayangon Township, with five cars on West Horse Course Road and East Shwegondine Road (between Thathana Yeiktha Road and West Horse Course Road) in Bahan Township, with another five vehicles on Anawyahtar street (between Bo Aung Kyaw and Pansodan streets), 39th, 38th and 37th streets.
Moreover, they removed barbed wires, sandbags, bamboo mattings, poles, woodblocks, used tires, stones, bricks, iron bars and old concrete mixers at 41 places on Yankin road, Yan Shin road, Moe Kaung road (between Thitsar and Aung Zeya streets), Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, Parami road, West Horse Course road, Industrial (1) road (in front of CBM) to facilitate the public transport. — MNA
