MoSWRR minister discusses implementation of recommendations on Rakhine State

Union Minister Dr Thet Thet Khine chairs the meeting to discuss the ways to slove the prolong conflicts in Rakhine State.

The Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement organized a meeting on implementing the recommendations on Rakhine State yesterday.
Union Minister Dr Thet Thet Khine discussed the ways to solve the prolong conflicts in Rakhine State, efforts of former governments for the interests of the Rakhine community, progress in solving difficulties that occurred in 2012 due to the conflicts and cooperation works between the relevant departments and organizations in carrying out the socio-economic development of Rakhine State following the policies and directives of the State Administration Council.
Then, the Deputy Director-General of Natural Disaster Management briefed the formation of Rakhine State Investigation Commission and Advisory Commission on Rakhine State, and performances carried out based on the recommendations of these commissions in the respective sector of Rakhine State.—MNA
