Ruili Airlines welcomes passengers of its resumed Mandalay-Mangshi-Mandalay flight to Mandalay International Airport

Passengers of Mandalay-Mangshi-Mandalay flight being welcomed by officials at Mandalay International Airport on 21 January.

The Ruili Airlines’ Mandalay-Mangshi-Mandalay (DR-503) flight that was suspended in outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, resumed operation as the maiden trip from Mangshi, Yunnan Province to Mandalay on 21 January. It landed at the Mandalay International Airport (TadaU) at 4:50 pm.
Passengers of 26 Chinese nationals and two Myanmar nationals were on-board and welcomed by Director-General of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism U Maung Maung Kyaw, officials from tourism related organizations and MJas (Mitsubishi Cooperation-Jalux) Airport Services Co Ltd at Mandalay International Airport. The Director-General and officials explained the travel information at the information desk of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and handed out the brochures and QR codes to the passengers for their convenience.
A total of 25 Chinese nationals and six Myanmar nationals were boarded on a flight from the Mandalay International Airport to Mangshi, which left at 5:40 pm. It is reported that the Ruili Airlines will operate Mangshi-Mandalay-Mangshi flights three days a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. — MNA/CT
