SAC member meets Rakhine officials, departmental staff

The meeting between SAC Member Dr Ba Shwe and departmental officials and staff yesterday in Rakhine State.

State Administration Council Member Dr Ba Shwe met Rakhine State officials and other ranks at the state government office yesterday.
Also present at the event were Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, Deputy Ministers U Zaw Aye Maung and Daw Nu Mra Zan, relevant officials, entrepreneurs and towns elders.
First, the Chief Minister reported on the destructive actions of AA in the state, transportation of fuel and foodstuffs from Yangon to Sittway, activities to hold Grade-5, 9, 12 and matriculation examinations for the 2023-2024 academic year successfully, and cooperation works with organizations concerned to harvest monsoon paddy in time.
Then, the state cabinet members and Deputy Minister U Zaw Aye Maung presented matters related to government staff, students who will sit for the matriculation examination, the transport system and interdepartmental cooperation.
The SAC member then highlighted the rehabilitation processes in Rakhine State after Cyclone Mocha, proper yield of monsoon paddy and other crops thanks to the cooperation of government and people and positive changes in Rakhine State.
He continued that peace is essential to develop a region. The SAC always opens the door to conduct peace-related activities, and the Head of State focuses on Rakhine State.
He also stated the proper education and health systems in developing a region and urged all to work together to achieve success in ethnic affairs, regional peace and tranquillity, and serve duties based on the Union spirit. — MNA/KTZH
