SAC member meets region cabinet members, departmental officials in Taninthayi Region

State Administration Council member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun and party met the Taninthayi Region government at the Kyun Yadana meeting hall of Myeik District General Administration Department yesterday.
During the meeting, Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko reported on the agricultural-related matters of the region and the departmental officials presented reports on the plantations of oil palm, cocoa and elephant foot yams. Depending on the presentations, SAC member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun instructed the necessary things.
Also present at the meeting were Union Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay, Taninthayi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko, Commander of the Coastal Region Command Maj-Gen Saw Than Hlaing, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Aung Gyi and other relevant officials. — MNA
