SAC Member U Sai Lone Hsai attends ceremony of paying respect to elders in Kengtung

State Administration Council Member U Sai Lone Hsai, accompanied by Triangle Region Command Commander Maj-Gen Myo Min Tun and his wife, Chairman of the Shan State (East) Administration Council Branch U Ye Naing and his wife, and department officials, attended the ceremony of paying respect to elders held in Kengtung on 17 April.
A total of 47 senior citizens over the age of 75 were presented with donated items and K30,000 each by U Sai Lone Hsai and the party. Those who attended the ceremony also contributed cash assistance to the elders. In addition, medics, doctors, nurses from the No (3) Military hospital(300), No (12) Battle Field Medical Battalion Mobile Medical Team, Kengtung General Hospital and the Department of Traditional Medicine provided medical check-ups and treatment to the elders.
Maj-Gen Myo Min Tun and his wife, Chairman U Ye Naing and his wife and officials also released 6,500 fish into the Kengphaung Creek to spare their lives to commemorate the Myanmar New Year. — MNA
