SAC members attend dinner in honour of 48th Anniversary Mon State Day

A dinner to commemorate the 48th Anniversary Mon State Day was held at Mon State Hall in Mawlamyine at 6 pm on 19 March.
Members of the State Administration Council Dr Banyar Aung Moe and Mahn Nyein Maung, Union Ministers Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and U Saw Tun Aung Myint, Mon State Chief Minister U Zaw Lin Tun, Commander of South-East Command Maj-Gen Ko Ko Maung, State Ministers and officials attended the dinner.
The 48th Anniversary Mon State Day Commemorative Gallery Awards were awarded during the event and Mon State Chief Minister U Zaw Lin Tun presented the third prize to the Mon State Fire Services Department, and SAC member Dr Banya Aung Moe presented the second prize to the State Fisheries Department. Next, SAC member Mahn Nyein Maung, presented the first prize to the Mon State Education Office.
Afterwards, the SAC members and guests enjoyed the Mon traditional songs and dances performed by Mon dance troupe. Next, the SAC members, Union Ministers, the State Chief Minister and the commander presented bouquets and cash award to the dance troupe followed by hosting the dinner by officials.—MNA
