SAC members attend U-16 Men’s Football Tournament awarding ceremony

The final match of the 2022 Inter-State/Region U-16 Men’s Football Tournament and award-presenting ceremony was held at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw at 3 pm yesterday.
Members of the State Administration Council Dr Banyar Aung Moe and U Shwe Kyein, senior military officers, deputy ministers, departmental officials, officials from the Myanmar Football Federation, staff from ministries and football fans watched the final match and attended the award presentation. In the final match, the Magway Region team beat the Kachin State team 4-0.
At the award-giving ceremony, SAC members presented awards including the best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, striker and best player awards throughout the tournament and also the fourth prize to the Yangon Region team, third prize to the Taninthayi Region team, second prize to the Kachin State team and the first prize to the Magway Region team.
Altogether 13 teams from regions and states competed in the 2022 Inter-State/ Region U-16 Men’s Football Tournament held from 20 October to 3 November.—MNA
