SAC members support inter-state/region women’s aerobic competition held in Nay Pyi Taw

Aiming to raise the standard of health and fitness of the whole nation, promote inter-ethnic friendship and the emergence of a new generation of athletes in 2022, the Inter-state/region Women’s Aerobic Competition was held yesterday under the COVID-19 rules and regulations at Wunna Theikdi Gymnasium in Nay Pyi Taw.
Members of the State Administration Council Daw Aye Nu Sein, Jeng Phang Naw Taung and Saw Daniel, Union Minister for National Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi, Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Myo Hlaing, departmental officials and staff attended to support the competition.
Firstly, Deputy Minister U Myo Hlaing delivered a speech, and the members of the State Administration Council and the deputy minister cordially greeted athletes who will compete in the competitions and watched the five-a-side aerobics competitions.
Yesterday, the five-a-side aerobics competition, three-a-side aerobics competition and individual aerobic competition were held, and it will continue until 22 February at the stadium. A total of 13 teams with 155 athletes will participate in the competitions. It is also reported that anyone interested in sports is invited to come and watch it for free. — MNA
