SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win inspects preparations for youth and literature festival in commemoration of Diamond Jubilee Union Day

Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win inspected the preparation for the Youth and Literature Festival in commemoration of the Diamond Jubilee Union Day at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
Union Ministers U Maung Maung Ohn, Dr Myo Thein Kyaw and U Min Thein Zan and Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr Maung Maung Naing explained the programme of the festival and the display of exhibitions to the Vice-Senior General.
The Vice-Senior General inspected the exhibitions of each ministry and Myanmar Aerospace Exhibitions and instructed officials to display them following the COVID-19 prevention guidelines and security measures. Afterwards, he arrived at the Wunna Theikdi (B) Stadium and watched the demonstrations of the national sports teams who will be competing in the 31st Southeast Asian Games to be hosted by Viet Nam, and the Fitness Dance Demonstrations by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.
The Youth and Literature Festival in commemoration of the Diamond Jubilee Union Day is co-organized by the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. The festival will feature more than 40 galleries and exhibitions, including a gallery of historical contracts and documents of Myanmar books, periodicals and biographies of literary scholars published by various publishing houses, COVID-19 disease awareness gallery, maritime science and aviation awareness workshops, science and technology awareness workshops and art galleries. The festival will also include student entertainment programmes and will be open for the public from January 29 to 31 from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm at Wunna Theikdi Stadium. —MNA
