Sale of US dollar at CBM reference rate coordination meeting held

Deputy Minister U Nyunt Aung of the Ministry of Commerce, in his capacity as the Chairman of the Working Committee on Ensuring Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods, attended the coordination meeting held via Zoom on the sale of the US dollar at the Central Bank of Myanmar reference rate at the UMFCCI in Yangon.
The meeting was also attended by the Yangon region government minister for economy, the secretary of the Working Committee on Ensuring Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods, the director-general of the Consumer Affairs Department, the deputy director-general of the Petroleum Products Regulatory Department and the departmental officials, the officials from the UMFCCI, the Myanmar Petroleum Importers and Distributors Association and fuel oil entrepreneurs.
Besides, Brig-Gen Yan Naung Soe, in his capacity as the joint secretary of the Working Committee on Ensuring Smooth Flow of Trade and Goods, the director-general of the Customs Department, the director-general of the Central Bank of Myanmar and the fuel oil entrepreneurs also attended the meeting via videoconferencing.
Initially, Deputy Minister U Nyunt Aung gave the opening remarks. Brig-Gen Yan Naung Soe and the economy minister of Yangon Region Government and officials raised the topics regarding ways to stabilize the price of fuel oil and the sale of the US dollars at CBM reference rate. Then, they made suggestions concerning these topics.
Then, the deputy minister, in his capacity as the chairman of the working committee added coordination to the discussions. — MNA
