SEA Games national men’s football group stage matches concludes

The last day of Group B of the SEA Games will be held on 16 May and Thailand and Malaysia advancing to the semifinals.
On the last day of the group, Malaysia and Cambodia drew 2-2 and Thailand beat Laos 1-0. Malaysia beat Thailand and Laos twice in a row but drew with Singapore and Cambodia in the last two matches to reach the semi-finals.
Due to the draw of Malaysia, Thailand defeated Laos to win first place in the group. Thailand lost to Malaysia in the opening match but won the last three matches and reached the semifinals of the group. In the semifinal, Viet Nam will face Malaysia and Thailand will take on Indonesia. The semifinal matches will be played on 19 May. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
