SEA Games Women’s Football: Myanmar to play Laos today

Myanmar national women’s football team will take on the Laos team today at the SEA Games women’s football tournament which is being held in Viet Nam.
Team Myanmar match will start at 3:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time, while the other match: Thailand versus Singapore will be also played at 6:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time.
Team Myanmar needs to score more goals in the matches against Laos and Singapore. Myanmar will face Thailand for the first place in the group stage.
It is not difficult to get a full point if the Myanmar team can take advantage of the opportunities that are concentrated in the opening matches, Myanmar team officials said.
Seven teams are competing in the women’s football tournament with Myanmar in Group B with Thailand, Singapore and Laos while host Viet Nam is falling in Group A with the Philippines and Cambodia.
Strikers Win Theingi Tun, July Kyaw and Myat Noe Khin will be in the Myanmar team line-up in the upcoming matches, team officials added. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
