Security, peaceful trade priority at Ranong-Kawthoung Friendship Tourism Exhibition

U Aung Htay Lwin, who oversees the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism (Kawthoung Branch), emphasized the importance of security and peaceful trade during the Ranong-Kawthoung Friendship Tourism Exhibition to foster tourism development between Myanmar and Thailand.
“This marks the second Myanmar-Thailand Tourism Exhibition and Market Fair. The event aims to enhance tourism collaboration between the two nations, bolster trade, and offer entertainment programmes. We focus on ensuring secure trade, especially for our Thai visitors attending the exhibition,” stated U Aung Htay Lwin.
The exhibition will feature over 40 booths showcasing hotels, tour packages from travel companies, various products and foods from Thailand, and approximately 40 galleries from Myanmar.
Scheduled to run from 4 to 8 February for five days at the 3rd-mile People’s Square in Kawthoung Township, Taninthayi Region, the Ranong-Kawthoung Friendship Tourism Exhibition seeks to promote tourism between Myanmar and Thailand, featuring performances by renowned artists. — ASH/MKKS
