Semifinals held for Aunglan New Generation Lethwei Championship

Under the supervision of Myanmar Lethwei Federation, semifinals of Aunglan New Generation Lethwei Championship featuring six bouts were held at Theinbyu Gymnasium in Yangon yesterday afternoon.
In the men’s 54-57 kg event, Aung Ye Naing (Power Punch) beat Gya La (Python), and Saw Kedo (Holy Power) defeated Htoo Say Wah (Shwe Phoo) by unanimous decisions.
In the men’s 60-63.5 kg event, Law Kwa Doo (Tawwun Yoyar) snatched Win Bo (Razaderiz) in the second stanza while Gaw Do Htoo (Yoya Kyar) won over Gae Do (STL) in unanimous decision.
In the men’s 67-71 kg event, Arkar Phyo (Tiger Gym) celebrated victory over Mike Mike (Shwe Maubin) in unanimous decision. In the same category, Zaw Thet Naung (Knight) struck Myat Thu in the second round.
All the winners have already advanced to the final bout which will be held on 8 October. — Bala Soe/KZL
