Seminar on Innovation and Young Entrepreneurship for Mekong Regional Development, Product Exhibition held

The Seminar on Innovation and Young Entrepreneurship for Mekong Regional Development and Product Exhibition were held in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than attended the seminar together with Deputy Minister and officials concerned, and Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy Dr Zheng Zhihon and young entrepreneurs joined virtually.
First, the Union Minister said the current seminar will include activities for the digital transition and an e-market platform for MSMEs. The ministry makes to develop the e-market platform and about 100 MSMEs can use it in selling their products and they can expand their market using the Digital Platform. Moreover, it will also prioritize start-ups.
Then, Chinese Minister Counselor Dr Zheng Zhihong and the deputy director-general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained the processes of Mekong-Lancang Cooperation. Afterwards, the Union minister announced that the e-marketplace for Myanmar products platform started and inspected the booths.
The seminar will be held for three days from 26 to 28 November with the exchange of innovative ideas among young entrepreneurs from six Mekong countries of China, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam. — MNA
