Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visits Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw

Chairman of State Administration Council and Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by the council members Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Zaw Myo Tin and other officials visited the Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During the visit, the Senior General firstly donated flowers and water to the Buddha images.
He then went around the pagoda and, warmly greeted the pilgrims and visitors.
The pagodas and religious buildings have reopened to public starting 8 February in accordance with the COVID-19 regulations.—MNA
