SPTT concludes 4th-day meeting with UWSP, NDAA and SSPP delegation

The fourth-day meeting between the State Peace Talks Team and the delegation led by the vice-chairman of the United Wa State Party-UWSP, the vice-chairman of the National Democratic Alliance Army-NDAA and the vice-chairman-2 of the Shan State Progress Party-SSPP took place at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
The SPTT received UWSP Vice-Chairman U Lau Yaku, NDAA Vice-Chairman U San Pae and SSPP Vice-Chairman-2 Sao Khun Seng separately and bilaterally discussed the fulfilment of requirements for education and health sectors and regional development measures.
The fourth-day meeting was attended by State Administration Council Member Union Minister at the Government Office Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee-NSPNC Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung and NSPNC members Lt-Gen Min Naing, Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein, Lt-Gen Aye Win and Col Wunna Aung, and UWSP Vice-Chairman U Lau Yaku, Head of the UWSP Political Department U Aik Nap Ling, NDAA Vice-Chairman U San Pae, General-Secretary U Kyi Myint, SSPP Vice-Chairman-2 Sao Khun Seng and SSPP Secretary-2 Sao Seng Hsu.
They discussed their attitudes and stances again according to the negotiation and then signed the final agreements.
Next, UWSP Vice-Chairman U Lau Yaku on behalf of the participating ethnic armed organizations made concluding remarks.
Then, SPTT Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae gave closing remarks and presented the record book on the SAC’s endeavours in serving the interests of the country published by the Ministry of Information and publications, an MRTV DTH two-foot receiver satellite dish and gifts. — MNA
