The coordination meeting of the Steering Committee on Compiling Myanmar Industrial History was held in Yangon Region Friday.
First, Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than said the history of Myanmar’s industry sector is compiled for new generations to improve their science, engineering and technological knowledge. All should participate in creating a major paper regarding science, engineering and technology including principles and technological facts in developing the industry sector, and to ensure the sustainability of developed industries.
The attendees of the meeting need to discuss frankly publishing the historical facts of Myanmar’s industry.
At noon, the Union minister met officers who completed the basic course for pre-civil servants and public servant management diploma course (8) at the electrical lab and electrical skill training hall in Mayangon Township.
Meanwhile, the Union minister shared the facts regarding the international Fundamental Engineering (FE) exam using PowerPoint.
Then, he gave cash awards to outstanding trainees who won the Excellent Award and Outstanding Award in literature at the training courses and cordially met officers. — MNA
