Stimulant tablets confiscated in Nawnghkio, Panglong townships

According to the Myanmar Police Force, stimulant tablets were seized in Nawnghkio and Panglong townships.
A joint team comprising members of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and searched a Hyundai Porter II vehicle near Mageeyay village in Nawnghkio township on the afternoon of 21 January. The search resulted in the discovery of 400,000 stimulant tablets.
Similarly, on 22 January, a joint team comprising members of the Anti-Drug Police Force stopped and searched the motorcycle driven by Tin Aung, accompanied by Ma Nang Than Tin, near Leinli Village and seized 3,900 stimulant pills from them.
They have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/KZW
