Health officials conducted vaccination programmes for above 12-year-old students at the B.E.H.S Sumprabum in No (3) Ward of Sumprabum Township in Putao District of Kachin State on 26 October.
The students had to follow the COVID-19 health rules and a total of 96 students was vaccinated against COVID-19.
Moreover, 16 health workers of Kachin State and volunteers, two health workers and six members of the Health Poverty Action (HPA) of Sumprabum township led by deputy head Daw Hlaing Hlaing Htay of Kachin State Public Health Department vaccinated 40 villagers of Laing War Yang, Bok Khar, Karanyang and Drewkha villages, 14 people from Su Yan Village of Za Nan Kha village-tract and 1 each from Dayu Kha village and Kabayan Khu ward.
The township administration body chairman U Khin Maung Myint, police, departmental staff, health workers, education staff, fire brigade members and ward administrators participated in the vaccination processes for the students. — Henry Miko Sa (Sumprabum)/GNLM
