Subversive media circulate misinformation about Aukchai village in Mindat

G1

False news is circulated on social media and online sites alleging that Tatmadaw attacked Aukchai village in Mindat Township, Chin State, with cluster bombs, resulting in injuries to five people, including two children, on 3 April.
According to a security officer in the relevant area, Tatmadaw did not bomb the area, and there were no clashes on 3 April.
Similarly, on the morning of 6 April, subversive media outlets fabricate misinformation, alleging that Tatmadaw raided Shadaw village in Shwebo Township. According to reports from some local residents who oppose violence, the security forces conducted security activities in the area because terrorists were allegedly hiding in the village.
Terrorists attacked the security forces with heavy weapons and dropped bombs, reportedly resulting in the burning of houses and displacement of households.
Terrorist-supporting subversive media are reportedly spreading fake news and propaganda, making the public misunderstand the military. — MNA/TKO
