Summer and monsoon paddy, sesame achieve high yield in Magway region

A total of 958 acres of summer paddy and 714 acres of summer sesame planted this summer in Sedoktara township, Magway Region, have achieved high yield.
With assistance from the Township Agriculture Department, which conducted fieldwork for farmers in order to get good seeds and cultivate them in the GAP system, the summer paddy and summer sesame are thriving in the region.
According to an official from the Township Agriculture Department, a total of 5,401 monsoon paddy and 12,023 acres of monsoon sesame will be grown in the coming rainy season. — Township (IPRD)/GNLM
