Tatmadaw members and families should read books and publications for having strong spirit and knowledge to analyze right and wrong: Vice-Senior General

Successful military own and manageable scale agriculture and livestock farming tasks contribute to effective welfare for all Tatmadaw members and families, said Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win at the separate meetings with Tatmadaw members and families in local battalions in Naungwoe and Kengkham stations yesterday morning.
At the meetings, the Vice-Senior General urged Tatmadaw members to protect valuable forest resources of the State while serving military operations and security duties.
The Vice-Senior General said that as Tatmadaw members and families implemented the military own and manageable scale agriculture and livestock farming policies, products from agriculture and livestock farms could help solve the food supplies of the people in various areas during the Covid-19 period. Hence, they all have to successfully strive for agriculture and livestock farms.

It is important to operate general staff, adjutant and quartermaster measures for military operations and security duties. The Vice-Senior General stressed the need to fully implement four military-building tasks to improve the capability of the relevant military units to serve the State’s defence duties.
The Vice-Senior General underscored that unity is crucial in deciding the success and loss of the military units. Although those wishing to destroy the State are attempting to disintegrate the Tatmadaw, the Tatmadaw is safeguarding the nation as a strong institution due to the comprehensive unity of the Tatmadaw members and families.
The Vice-Senior General stressed that Tatmadaw members and families should read books and publications for having a strong spirit and knowledge to analyse right and wrong. The Vice-Senior General then coordinated with officials over the reports of officers, other ranks and families of individuals.
After the meetings, the Vice-Senior General presented foodstuffs produced by Tatmadaw factories to officers, other ranks and families of relevant military stations to officials. Likewise, Daw Than Than Nwe, wife of the Vice-Senior General, gave domestic foodstuffs and cash assistance to maternal and child welfare association to officials.
Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and his wife presented foodstuffs to officials.
The Vice-Senior General and party inspected the raising of layers and breeding of DLY pigs at the local battalion and gave necessary instructions. — MNA/TTA
