MoPF holds Thingyan Group Dance competition

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, Deputy Ministers U Maung Maung Win and Daw Than Than Lin enjoyed the Thingyan choral dance competition held yesterday at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw to commemorate the Myanmar Traditional Thingyan Festival.
A total of 20 Thingyan choral dance troupes representing the Union Minister’s Office and relevant departments under the Ministry of Planning and Finance participated in the competition. Prizes are awarded to the Customs Department which won the first prize, to the Department of Internal Revenue which won the second prize, to the Union Minister’s Office which won the third prize, to the Department of Budget which won the fourth prize, and to the Project Appraisal and Progress Reporting Department which won the fifth prize. The rest of other departments won consolation prizes.
In addition, the Union Minister’s Office and relevant departments under the ministry set up pavilions and served refreshments. The Deputy Prime Minister, deputy ministers, heads of the departments and staff enjoyed the event.—MNA/TS
