Tatmadaw (Navy) transports supplies to people in Mocha-hit Rakhine State

The Tatmadaw vessel carrying relief goods is seen transporting them to Rakhine State.

Relief materials and foodstuffs for the people affected by natural disasters in Rakhine State are being delivered daily by Tatmadaw aircraft, helicopters and vessels.
A 29-metre landing craft from the Tatmadaw (Navy) carrying 45 tonnes of relief items docked at the Sittway harbour and left for Rathedaung yesterday afternoon.
Similarly, another 29-metre landing craft from Tatmadaw (Navy) carrying 42 tonnes of supplies including foodstuffs and construction materials docked at Mingan Port and transported them to Rathedaung.
Next, the third 29-metre landing craft from Tatmadaw (Navy) transported rescue teams, and construction items including one wheel loader and three excavators totalling 30 tonnes to Sittway via Angumaw port.
Likewise, a supply vessel named Pyitawaye III carrying 696 tonnes of rehabilitation materials transported them to Sittway via Yangon.
The relief items have been properly handed over to officials and will soon be distributed to the people affected by the storm. —MNA/KZL
