Tatmadaw (Navy) transports supplies to people in Mocha-hit Rakhine State

Relief supplies and machinery are loaded onto the naval vessel to deliver them to Rakhine State.

A 56-metre landing craft from the Tatmadaw (Navy) carrying 114.6022 tonnes of hardwood docked at the Essar jetty in Sittway yesterday morning to deliver the necessary relief materials to the areas affected by Cyclone Mocha in Rakhine State.
Similarly, another 56-metre landing craft from Tatmadaw (Navy) carrying eight troops from the Directorate of Military Engineering, one construction vehicle WA-320 Wheel Loader, and three MI-2 Excavators totalling 35 tonnes were transported to Sittway from Angumaw port.
The delivery of relief items has been properly handed over to the officials and will be distributed to the people affected by the storm as soon as possible. — MNA/KZL
