Thet Htar Thuzar eliminated from 1st round of World Badminton Championships

Myanmar badminton champion Thet Htar Thuzar was eliminated from the first round of the Total Energies BWF World Championships 2022, held in Japan, which started on 22 August.
In the first round, Thet Htar Thuzar lost to Canada’s Badminton player Zeng Wan Yu by 2:1.
Thet Htar Thuzar was defeated by 21-7 points in the first game but won back with 21-11 points in the second game.
Therefore, the third game became decisive and Thet Htar Thuzar was defeated by 21-19 points.
Thet Htar Thuzar competed in the World Badminton Championship for the second year in a row. In addition, she is competing in Badminton World Federation (BWF) tournaments this year. —Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
