Third round of eye surgeries begins on 7 Nov at Sitagu Sakudana Hospital in Yangon

The third round of eye surgery donations for patients with eye diseases will reportedly take place at Sitagu Hospital in Dagon Myothit (North) Township, Yangon, from 7 to 13 November.
The report said on 25 June, 371 eye patients who had undergone surgeries were re-examined, including those who received a second round of free eye examination and treatment at the hospital.
Since January 2019, a total of 522,730 eye patients have been examined, with 100,854 undergoing surgeries at Sakudana Hospital.
These hospitals have been established and opened by Sitagu Sayadaw, and there are 37 Sakudana Hospitals opened in the nation.
Additionally, hospitals are under construction in Pulaw and Myeik in the Taninthayi Region, Khamti and Indaw in Sagaing Region, and Kume in Mandalay. — TWA/KZW
