Myanmar MMA fighter Tial Thang left the United States for the Philippines early in the morning on 25 November to compete in the ONE 164 Tournament to be held on 3 December.
Tial Thang will fight Filipino Pacatiw for his second bout of this year and travel to the Philippines a week before.
Tial Thang will fight Filipino Pacati as a bantamweight challenger. Tial Thang has won three of his five challenge bouts after working with the ONE Championship organization. He lost one match and was stopped before the end of the match as he hit a forbidden spot in the last bout. Pacatiw, who will fight against Tial Thang, has more tournament experience than him.
The ONE 164 tournament to be held in the Philippines on 3 December will feature 10 bouts and will be divided into two sections. Tial Thang’s bout will be the first one of Part 2. As the main event in this tournament, the Strawweight world championship Joshua Pacio from the Philippines will take on Brooks from the United States. — Ko Nyi Lay/GNLM
