A creator of a winning film in the “Traditional Myanmar” short film competition seen being awarded.

The Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization (MMPO) awarded the creators of the winning films in the short story competition with the theme ‘Traditional Myanmar’ in a ceremony to mark the 78th anniversary of the organization.
The short story competition was convened to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the organization, held on 8 March at the Film Hall of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization.
Actor Academy Yan Aung said that the organization awarded nine winning short films in the “Myanmar Traditional” film competition for the 78th anniversary of MMPO, which was founded on 8 March 1946.
The winning short films “Sinswe Kakyoe”, “Yoeyarpyaw Sinpwetaw”, “Tadinga Padauk”, “Aphantayaryine hnint Kankyamar Hline”, “Pann Say Yar”, “Layaung san hma Pwint Thi Pan”, “Swellanchin”, “Thonenarnyi Trigan” and “Latkhokthan hnint Yatkan” were awarded.
Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint, patron U Aung Lwin, and academy director U Zaw Myint Oo gave honorary speeches at the ceremony. Moreover, actors, directors and professionals from various aspects of the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization attended the ceremony. — ASH/TRKM
