Training institutions under Border Affairs Ministry ready to reopen

When universities, degree colleges and training schools are opened, systematic preparations must be made for the readiness of lecture halls, hostels and mess halls in line with guidelines of Covid-19 prevention, said Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung in meeting with faculty members and staff of Union National Races Youth Resources Development Degree College (Yangon) in Dagon Myothit (Seikkan) Township on 7 April.
The union minister inspected construction tasks in the compound of the degree college. The principal reported to the union minister on matters related to the Degree College and readiness for reopening of the degree college.
The union minister urged the faculty members and staff to nurture students to have high mental concepts in addition to giving lectures on literature and enhance the capacity of demonstrators, adding that they have to be loyal to the State with the prestige of State service personnel.
The union minister presented uniforms and cash assistance to faculty members.
He then viewed round preparations to reopen the central training school in Dagon Myothit (North) Township and storage and maintenance tasks for heavy machinery at Yangon East District Development Supervisory Office. — MNA
