Myanmar cities win ASEAN Clean Tourist City Award at ATF 2024

According to the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF), Keng Tung and Pathein have been awarded the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Award.
The ATF 2024 was held from January 22 to 27 in Vientiane, Laos, and the related ASEAN Tourism Ministers’ Meeting was attended by Myanmar’s Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism, Dr Thet Thet Khine.
At the forum, two cities of Myanmar, Keng Tung in Eastern Shan State and Pathein in Ayeyawady Region, won the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Award.
In addition, Myanmar also received five ASEAN Green Hotel Awards, three ASEAN MICE Venue Standard Awards (Category: Meeting Room), two ASEAN MICE Venue Standard Awards (Category: Exhibition Award), three ASEAN MICE Venue Standard Awards (Category: Event Venue), and the ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Award.
