UEC continues inspections on political parties

The Union Election Commission looked into the political parties whether they conducted systematically for the memberships of the parties, party funds and property, savings, maintaining, usage, audition and liquidation and parties’ procedures according to the Union Election Law Section 10 ( l ) “supervising, causing to supervise and guiding the political parties to carry out in accord with the law”.
The inspection team led by UEC member U Bran Shaung, including members of the Union Auditor- General Office, Internal Revenue Department and Bureau of Special Investigation inspected the Kachin State-based Lisu National Development Party (LNPD) and New Democracy Party (Kachin) (NDP-Kachin) from 11 to 15 October; another inspection team led by UEC member U Myint Thein inspected the Rakhine State-based Arakan Front Party (AFP) from 9 to 12 October, and the team led by UEC member U Myint Oo checked the Rakhine State-based Arakan National Party from 9 to 13 October. — MNA
