UNICEF Myanmar announces painting contest on children’s rights & dreams A painting contest depicting the rights and dreams of children is planned to be held, as announced by UNICEF Myanmar. Artworks can take the form of pencil drawings, paintings, collective creations, and other visual expressions, with a maximum size not exceeding A3 (42 x 29.7 centimetres), as stated by UNICEF Myanmar.
The back of the artwork should include the name and age of the child, along with the address, phone number, and email address of the parents or guardian.
In the case of a collective creation, the name and age of each child, along with contact details for each child, must be mentioned on the back of the artwork. Additionally, the purpose and story (meaning) of the artwork should be included.
Submissions for the artworks can be sent via mail, express or postal delivery services, or in person to the Yangon office of UNICEF Myanmar by 28 November at the latest.
UNICEF Myanmar has specified that four top prizes will be awarded, with two prizes in each of the respective age categories. — TWA/ TMT
