Union Attorney General attends 14th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice

The Myanmar delegation led by Union Attorney General Dr Thida Oo and the Ministry of Home Affairs attended the 14th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice held at the Kyoto International Convention Center via video conferencing.

The convention was attended by UN member states, observers, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and experts and discussed challenges in criminal justice for socio-economic development and multi-pronged approach, efforts to improve the rule of law and cooperation between member states and technical assistance in transnational cases such as human trafficking and drug control and violent attack.—MNA
